Product DescriptionBright gold dragon pendant, presented on WhyteWing’s signature hexagon chain.  The dragon is a symbol of good fortune, strength and enlightenment.  In Japanese design, the hexagon is derived from the pattern of shapes on a tortoise shell and represents longevity.  This time, the chain alternates black and gold brass, echoing the contrast of Chinese and Japanese lacquer designs.This gold dragon pendant measures approximately 38 mm long (about 1.5 inches), including the bail. These dragons are individually hand cast at WhyteWing, so there will be minor variations in each one. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to commission multiples.The solid brass hex chain is 19 inches including the clasp. It can be adjusted to a shorter length by simply fastening the lobster clasp to a link further up the chain. For more length/drape, there are matching necklace extenders available here.  I have added a high quality protective coating to this piece which will delay patina changes and limit skin contact reactivity for an extended time.
